The Fading Light : We all have a story to tell from the different stages in our lives, whether it is Life, Death, or the Miracles lying in between . This is my story to tell, as a photographer, of my Grandfather Roy and the gradual Fade to Black his life became from his fight with Alzheimer’s disease.

CHANGE, NYC 2009 : Many aspects in my life are currently in a state of FLUX just as I have an opportunity to stay in NYC for a fews days to pick up a friend. Inspired by a blog by Zack Arias, http://www.zarias.com/?p=465 , I spent some time talking to strangers in NYC asking them what they think of CHANGE, what does the word mean to them? What do they do when it comes? How do they react?

I enjoyed having a license to walk up to total strangers and having a chat and that's what I LOVE about this city! They don't know your past or future, they only know you right now and what you are at that very moment and you can have a new best friend for 10 minutes and then you go about your way.

Intuition guided me as to whom to talk to.

The Stone Lion : The legendary Stone Lion closed in 2006 and is sorely missed! It's a short group of photos, but oh-so sweet.

The Turtlehead House : I Love shooting spaces like this, so much character in every pore! This is known as the Turtlehead House, an un-official punk house of sorts.
